Steve Young played in an era where QBs got destroyed. That said. He still put together 3 straight injury free seasons and played at a HOF level.. Vick has never done this. Steve also never got outplayed by his backups.

Neither has Vick really...You can't take a couple of games and compare to a body of work that involves seasons....Doesn't matter anyway, probably not gonna work out for VIck for a lot reasons......I say let the fans have cake....They deserve it...

2nd....The Wizards wanted a big, and that 2001 draft class was atrocious....No one saw PAU coming like that, and on top of that, it took a while for his game to adapt to the NBA.....Kwame was a logical choice because he was obviously better than Jason Collins, Eddie Curry, and Tyson Chandler...and MJ would of caught the same kind of flack if he would have drafted Diop or Haywood.......That draft was setup to fail if you were intending on drafting a franchise guy in 2001...

And on top of it, MJ said he didn't want Kwame like that for real, and that the Front Office wanted him...Don't know if that's true or not, but word on the street is that he wanted to trade the pick for Brand

2010 is gone, Vick can't milk that season forever. A lot of people forget that Foles had a legit chance to be given the starting job right until the very end when Chip decided he wanted a mobile QB. Foles is the hot hand and has a higher ceiling, let him start and grow.

Different types of arms favor different receivers....If Foles starts for the rest of the season, Cooper will have more receiving yards that D Jax.

The problem with that is, Cooper isn't the weapon that D Jax is so defenses will bend a lil to let you eat off of cooper and then take him away when you need him....

You're harking back to last year to judge Foles, i`m not even a fan of Foles like that, and my post never states that.

There is no future in Vick, he is a mid 30's QB who is constantly injured, not a great player and a turnover machine. What's the point of sticking with Vick? They're 3-3 right now, maybe they can parlay this into a division title or just build Foles for the future.

So the reality is, it doesn’t MATTER who plays QB because it’s not like (a) we’re going far in the playoffs ANYWAY, assuming we make it, and/or (b) either Foles or Vick have solidified the spot for years to come. It’s likely NEITHER will even be on the damn team next season.

I pretty much agree with you're saying. My grandfather was a part of the media for over 40 yrs & wrote for the inquirer & he's a sports historian plus knows the city so when he talks I listen. So many fans & especially local media thought KOLB could walk on water, they(local media) were so upset he lost his job due to injury but vick was playing great.

Vick still has the locker room, but one more good performance by foles then everyone's tune may change. Let's stop acting vick has been given a "raw deal". He underperformed in that playoff game against the packers, since then 2yrs of injuries & under performing plus he got a 100 mil deal with 40 mil guaranteed plus another 10mil this year.

He has 0 SB victories with 2 playoff wins in 12yrs =short leash, black qb=shorter leash, point blank dude has to perform & stop getting injured.

That has more to do with Vick being dreadful in the red zone (and he is) than Foles being special.

The red zone ineffectiveness had more to do with dudes dropping passes (5 total I think) in the end zone than Vick being dreadful.
