none of them should be fired. this a$$hole scams restaurants on the regular, and got caught going to the same place twice. manager should sue
Are we sure that these were the scammers? I'm seeing conflicting reports.
I've been a manager - a Sam Goody manager, no less. (Crank dat flattop!) So I ALMOST sympathize here. But there are ways to handle those kinds of situations. Laughing, calling the cops and giving out free food to OTHER patrons ain't it. And the
second they showed they had money, she should've apologized profusely, comped their orders and (again) followed up w/ upper management. Yes, that absolutely sucks and she very well could've been fired either way, but at least she wouldn't have gone viral on top of it. The only thing Chipotle cares about is Chipotle, not the scrappy young burrito bowl slinger defending the company's honor.
