It's interesting...while I think his shyt is trash he does have 150k youtube subs. There's a clear audience for old head duck tales and Jay/Nas/Pac/Biggie talk. And I think the creation of the Jada/Fat Joe podcast alongside the success of Budden points to there being a big audience of older black people who want to hear about this bullshyt. They don't give a shyt about new artists, they want to hear about old shyt. Whether it's gossip or interviewing legends.

The difference is, Joe and Jada don’t spend time gossiping about bullsh*t.

Their platform is actually about the music and the culture. And it's thriving. The only people worried about these other podcasts are usually people who aren't black. People around the way ain't listening to these other dudes gossiping. They're all corny. Joe and Jada are getting all of the legends on their show, and having real talks. Actors, musicians, comedians, artists, etc. They're not on there talking about "snitches" and "paperwork" and bullsh*t like that. They have the most diverse guest list and they focus on good times and laughs. Not negativity.

i wanted to post something like this on my FB because my little cousins and family and shh is celebrating this man’s release like they know him and he was a political prisoner, lol. He was convicted of Murder, right? I know they dropped it down to a Man and that’s why he got out, etc… but he did 16 straight for his part in the robbery of someone. I think his first bid was a robbery too. Why would you celebrate him? For what? Hopefully he changed his life while in there and can be a productive member of society.
