Big homie 5 year old me had no idea we was struggling. Mama would whip up some MaltOMeal, melt some butter over a piece of bread (not toast) and put cinnamon and syrup over it, and fry us one egg each (it was 3 of us at that time) and that shyt was BOMB

I told her one time I want her to make my little girl that same breakfast she damn near started crying saying "that was the best we could do" and I told her shhhhhhhhhhh...(cant cuss at mama)...Ill eat that TODAY if she made it again

On god you can find that shyt at Walmart in TX to this day lmao. Its like $2 for a box that makes 50 bowls or some shyt.

I remember it used to come in a metal can with the scoop included for like 35 cents

Shoutout to Tang and Country time but they made you use your own scoop
