They said that was exactly what Trayvon Martin was doing to George Zimmerman, and GZ had the right to shoot him because he was being pummeled and his head was hitting the concrete. If this happened in a SYG state, then the lady should've had a right to reach for a gun and blow the cop away because she was being subjected to potential grave injury/death and feared for her life.

It's way too easy to say the officer overreacted without seeing the whole incident. Not trying to defend him at all, but it's just smarter not to assume.

copper did overreact by punching a female ; however let's see it in it's entirety

this video shows her walking and the cop grabbing her. she pushes his hands away and he then proceeds to take her down hard and starts wailing on her. i don't know what she said but i do know that pushing his hand aside does not warrant a beat down like that.
