Yep
In Original Gangsters, he played the leader of a gang that extorted, terrorized, and murdered Black residents of a small town.

This film came out after or during the later years of Family Matters . And he basically played a "brute". So he can front/revise history talking about he wouldn't have played D. W. Griffith BOaN stereotype characters. But the facts say different.

I saw Big Red from five heartbeats say the same thing, not about urkel but how Hollywood wanted him to do goofy roles in the 80s and 90s and he turned them down because he was a trained actor

Even said he had solid scripts written and Hollywood would be like “ oh we love this, now we can get a white lead for it” he took his script and walked away

It doesn’t matter if it is 1930, 1940,1950,1960, 2025 Hollywood still look at u as a goof ball

But unfortunately too many folks over the past 30 years are good with it

Broham so righteous until the coli finds out who he married to
Let’s see how that meltdown rationality goes:pachaha:
We know he married the white girl from the Jamie Foxx show lol.

Also it’s funny hearing this from him, but they had Jaleel doing anything on that show. How tf you got Steve Urkel going on vacation then Myrtle Urkel pops in :scust: I don’t know what dude was getting paid but they got their moneys worth outta him lol. It definitely hurt Jaleel’s career and I’m sure still haunts him to this day.

Talking shyt 30 years later is crazy
And taking the check for a small role in a season 4 episode when Urkel was well entrenched in pop culture is wild.

Not like he said Jaleel did too many transformation into other characters etc in later seasons....he talked about Steve Urkel :mjlol:

But Duncan did played a character with a message...maybe he felt the show needed it as much as he needed the check :yeshrug:
