I do bro. They were huge. Fights with 120,000 plus. Pennant games all over the radio. I do but football is king now and I don't see that changing anytime soon for a variety of reasons

Never say never..Everything falls at some point

I don't expect it to happen anytime soon but gradually if less and less play the sport eventually the talent pool will drop and the talent pool will suffer

The thing is breh: Upper class folks will stop playing, people like borland, because they have other options. Poorer kids wont. Football teams give out 85 schollies bro. A lot of nikkas on my team would not have attended college had it not been for football. Furthermore, one has a much high probability of making the NFL than any other major sport. The roster holds 53 plus the practice squad. As long as it is a gateway for poor kids, it will have plenty of talent to pick from.

But you need more then just poor kids who have no other options to sustain a sports popularity

Boxing now strictly gets poor kids with no other options but the best athletes in the world are no longer going to boxing they're getting lower tier athletes which is why the talent pool is so diluted especially in the heavyweight class and why the popularity is down

That will happen to the nfl eventually where some of the top tier athletes will look to the other sports and slowly the talent level will decline like boxing

I'm not saying it will happen anytime soon but it's ignorant to think it can never happen

Then the question switches to will Football maintain its level of popularity without the white Hero leader guy at QB

Will white people still love football when it inevitably becomes majority black at QB

This is what I was trying to ask @jadillac

You're being a bit disingenuous. Boxing is an individual sport. Can u go to college on a boxing scholarship? Are there 85 opportunities at various colleges across the country to box and attend college for free? We both know the answer to these. It extends beyond the superficial with football. What other sport provides such a gateway for such a high number of poor kids?

Uhhh Brett Favre was from a lower class background. Bernie Kosar as well. Either way, as long as QB pay tops out at 20 millions plus per season, I'm not sure an individual who shows the capacity to perform at such a level will quit. Life is about risk and reward. There's a huge difference between the 400k per year someone like borland was seeing and 20 mill plus starting qbs get. Even upper middle class kids will stick around if you're talking about that kind of bread but if it's to be in borlands spot, they won't stick around.

QBs are the least likely to suffer the dangers of football, with the new rules.

The game is safer for them, so if an all Black qb league was going to happen it would have done so

It's going to happen because the QB running and converting on 3rd down is secretly becoming the most valuable thing in football

I hope Smith doesn't try to take it too far and mimic his accent.

League of Denial was just the start... the NFL is about to get exposed but one movie won't change shyt... just need to raise awareness one step at a time.
Oh I agree but having Will help convey the message can't hurt.

If the average person is not making 100k, then it would follow that there are NOT lots of people retiring with a mil or two in the bank. Like pcp said, you're smarter than this. :francis:

I was reading the last few pages... and both of those posts came up...

I'm just like, :snoop:
