can't win a ring without talented players

kg is talented, but when money is on the line........pierce was the one getting it DONE on the offensive end

go look at the series again if you disagree.......
Once again nikkas is confusing better scorer with better player.

Pierce won that MVP cause of dat wheelchair shyt and cause he was there the longest. If we being completely honest Ray Allen shoulda won Finals MVP, he was the most consistent throughout that series. Pierce had a game in which he scored 5 points........ FIVE.

Being #1 at your position in your era is not a qualification for the hall.

If that was the case many of the greats wouldn't be in there.

One all nba selection in 13 years, his inability to play with lebron being the main reason heat struggled and loss against inferior teams

Dog he was all nba once in his whole career

Crack all the Jokes u want, but homie is a first ballot HOF'er

Pierce was the Celtics best player for 3 of those games tho. He was the main reason for that crazy comeback in game 4 and if Ray would have showed up for game 5, maybe he would have won it :yeshrug:

I don't see a single N here.

Go back and watch the series, especially the games the Cs won.

All 3 of the big 3 were thought to be alphas when they came into the league. None of them got it done as the big dog with other talented players, or as co-star on talented team.

putting those guys together while still in their primes and making it work was a great coaching job by Doc.

Since the NBA keeps score in games and the team with the most points wins the game, then guys who can score points in high pressure moments are held at a premium over guys who don't want that pressure. Pierce was the guy for the Cs

What is the requirement for amount of players elected to the hall of fame and how long since retirement does it take for election...it seems like bosh just announced he was officially retired.

:what:

Bosh is one of 13 players in NBA history to average 19.2 points and 8.5 rebounds in a career that included at least 11 All-Star selections.

The other 12 — Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Karl Malone, Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, Moses Malone, Hakeem Olajuwon, Larry Bird, Bob Pettit, Patrick Ewing, Elvin Hayes and Elgin Baylor — are all in the Hall of Fame.

If this aint one of the most made up espn stats I ever seen

19.2 points :mjlol:

Bosh is deserving and will get in eventually but this stat is some bullshyt

Every single one of them were the best at their position at minimum at some point in their era. When can you honestly say Bosh was the best PF in the game?
He was the best player on the raptors, and the third best on a multi championship team. He should be a HOFmer eventually. if he doesn't make it then people like Ray Allen and Clyde Drexer shouldn't be in there either. because their careers followed pretty much the same pattern. and yes KG was a fair comparison too. Star's of shytty teams. but won as second or third options. Still put up good numbers, so you can't dismiss the years they had on the bad teams as empty stats because they proved they can do when it matters as well. But like people said this was a particularly strong class. so i can see why he was left out.

Allen and Drexler were the best players on contenders though. Even KG went to a conference finals and helped the Wolves overachieve beyond their talent level. Bosh never had that and I think Raptors fans will remember Lowry more fondly than him.

I think he gets in at some point but it's not surprising that he'll have to wait a while.
