I did forget about that so him doing anything with a gun would have automatically got him arrested with a felon with a firearm charge. Since he's not even supposed to be around guns that would be another charge of some type.
I assume the police couldn't find a gun which is why they didn't arrest him with additional charges. Although I guess that would come if they ever do find a gun connected to chris.
