Yeah his albums always feel like bloated compilations without a true direction. He even admitted he works on multiple albums at the same time which would explain why they don’t feel cohesive.

he's said on interviews that this was gonna be 23 songs and a mix of his various styles, which he thinks that's what his fans enjoy the most (and that seems to be accurate according to the gold and plat numbers he consistently does). idk why so called fans are in here with certain expectations when they should have known what it was going to be according to dozens of interviews he's done recently lol :manny:

It’s underwhelming, his voice doesn’t have what it takes to take him to the next level, his subject matter is repetitive/ superficial

I gotta live with this and trim the fat.

Chris is great at making C+/B- music and sometimes its hard to distinguish whats good and whats not. Its all good for the most part but few standouts. I wish he would just give us 10-12 standouts instead 25/30 ok joints.

Not mad at it, but it is a disservice. Maybe too many people to please.

I think the biggest issue with Chris Brown is he is a surface level artist. There not much introspection or vulnerability with his music. For once I wish Chris would try to make real soul music and not just music to party and fukk too. Chris gang affiliation is one of the worst things that has happened to his music, because it forces him to walk this fine line between being street and R&B. You can tell he very insecure about coming off “Soft” in his music. It shouldnt be like that for an R&B singer.

Justin Bieber sadly makes better music and better albums than BreeZy at this stage. Prove me wrong :manny:

First listen I was like meh, another long album with too much 808s and vocal effects with mid level club joints… after more spins, this is a great summer album and is one of the best to drop this year. We are extremely lucky to have CB especially compared to these new weirdos.

I will continue to hold out hope that he will make a thriller or confessions but for now I will enjoy this collection of songs and let the boy cook
