Heartbreak on a full moon is a great album that suffers from the same issue an Indingo( too many songs)

the difference with indingo is that there is a theme and cohesion with about 14 songs on here.

I definitely agree. This is a great album. It still gets played frequently over here. I kinda wish he released a streamlined version of this with those cohesive songs.

Wish Chris made R&B in the same vein as Miguel/Weekend/Frank. He’s just as, if not, more talented than all three but he just keeps making these Thot tracks and generic ass songs. Dude is capable of so much more... shyts clearly never gonna happen, he has his lane and he been sticking to it. Dude literally could go down as one of most legendary R&B pop artists of all time...

he has his lane as a performer

he never been an artist focused purely on vocals & songwriting

but he's 30 or something like that making the same old same old with no signs of maturation.

He is a great dancer lets stop saying he is a great performer please... i am going to his show when it hits NY but from the youtube video it is the same old Chris Brown moves around like a rapper hits dance moves, backing tracks, no background singer no band, lip sync sometimes no thought process in his stage show other than the routine...it is sad how cats in the 80's were performing muscially but didn't have the production these artist have now to get by on half ass performances

That mini-tour that CB did back in December 2015 to promote the release of the "Royalty" album might be 1 of CB's best tours just off the strength of using a live band in that tour:

"Under the Influence" blowing up this year just co-signs my theory, that CB does a terrible job of picking singles. I really dislike the first 3 single choices for this album & obviously "Overtime" ended up being wrong single choice for the deluxe album.
