Most of the gang members are the Migos, Lets be blunt, Chris Brown joined a gang because he is a bamma from Va, and being a blood is "cool". He rich enough to hire 4 or 5 big nikkas with gang ties to keep him safe. He chose to wallow in the mire. I went to LA and barely seen nikkas. He seeking out them.

What you're missing is that for an artist like Chris Brown, who spends plenty of his time in the LA rap scene.... can't simply not fukk with the people from the city, and still expect to get love from these people when it's time to do songs.

on top of that, These gang members have been the bodyguards and muscle for rappers,athletes and actors in LA since the 80's.

So yes, he chose to revel in such... but it's not like he's gonna be shooting videos in the 60's or in any of these hoods without paying that tax to gangs. It's not just about protection.. it's mutualism breh.
