You know
like usher ddnt take the same kind of dive with the old lady and the std ...
Chris brown “dived” 4 years into his career though :mjlol: . Why do y’all pretend Usher hasn’t been in the game since 1993? When Run it came out in 2005, Usher was already a veteran with classic under his belt. Chris Is not of the same generation as Usher. Usher is his OG.

2010 was his last significant album before falling off. I'm sorry, I love Breezy but he ain't fukking with Usher; neither does he have a classic album that can stand against 8701 or Confessions. Chris has great singles, but like Beyonce, he's never proven he can put together a cohesive, legendary album of work. In my opinion, Fame and his rookie debut are his two best albums. His other shyt just has a decent song here and there.

These are the facts :yeshrug:
I would love to see them battle. Both are legends. I still listen to Loyal more than any other track in either catalog.

People really should stick with peer groups, there is no percect 1:1 matchups at this level. Kellz in a verzuz would have to be limited to his work as an artist only, not writing/producing, to have a good match, and the best match from him as an artist is actually Mary J Blige, they were the king and queen of r&b from 92-02

ginuwine and usher is the next best match if we keeping it black, otherwise JT for usher

chris and trey is the best matchup for the dudes who established themselves in 04-07, they the only two to matter for more than a decade and consistently put singles on the radio…

neyo and dream were around but they were slightly older and have a whole producing/writing bag that separates them further from Chris/Trey. And yes, Chris has written for others but hes not seeing what dream and neyo accomplished
Trey not seeing Breezy just like Ginuwine not seeing Usher

I don’t think Usher and Chris Brown are good matchups at all. But I do think Usher and Bruno go better together becuz a lot of the people who came up loving Usher are the people who love Bruno Mars now. And I’m saying that from personal experience with women I know
I think it's a good matchup but my generation will always go with Usher and his generation with CB

I was never the biggest fan of Usher. Liked Chris Brown just a slight bit more. But objectively speaking, CB wipes the floor with Usher. I even think he slightly edges him out in vocals although I do like Usher’s upper range of which I think CB can’t even hit, or at least I haven’t seen him demonstrate the ability to do so.

Usher has definitely got hits but I think folks also need to consider that CB’s career took a nosedive for a while that prevented him from being able to put out music.

Personally, I think Chris edges our Usher.

Aiyyo mods, can we get this poster banned from the coli please

Thanks in advance

Breezy ain't our generation. If you 30+ and a nikka, Breezy ain't your generation. Breezy is the 15-30 year generation. My sister generation where they think Breezy is GOAT
Chris is 33, how would he not be in the 30+ generation? How would his generation age range start at 15 when he debuted almost 18 years ago?

Chris Brown is older than me and I'm in my 30s
