When y’all gonna learn some of us warned y’all bout Mario vs Omarion and found out real quick what it was
I don’t like Chris vs usher cuz of generation gap either but if they did
He not beating usher both got hits for days but usher has timeless songs where Chris just doesn’t Imo
Let alone usher sings way better live too

Jt makes sense he lose too but they came up around the same time but he isn’t strictly R&b more pop
Ginuwine makes sense if we’re gonna go R&b route and he lose also

I’ll be honest. I’m not familiar with any of his music before Uptown Funk. But how can you bring up the pop angle when you said JT was a good matchup for Usher and he’s more pop than Bruno Mars?
:heh:
JT made r&b cuts from jump as a solo artist, he gets the pop label due to being white/**NSYNC origins, but JT’s music is r&b. JT and Usher also ran the same era.and there was always people yapping about how timbaland and Pharrell should’ve been giving those songs to usher…

bruno’s two biggest albums aren’t r&b/soul…it just seems really weird to invite an artist who’s biggest songs don’t fit the demo and who wasn’t the same generation as the person they’re competing against. Like I said, Weeknd and Bruno fit better, same era, same lineup of songs, both flip flopped between r&b and pop

CB can give Usher a run in a Verzuz format but Usher's catalog and vocal ability should ultimately push him through.

Saying that, the one thing you can't count is the type of energy each performer comes to the Verzuz with. The more hungry aggressive and focused artist usually takes the show over.

If these cats agree to stay out their feelings and let everything fly, Breezy might have the better energy for a Verzuz battle but I think it'll just be celebration of music with these two because its so much respect.

Well he’s most known for NSync tho. He already had a built in fan base. I agree with you that Weeknd is a better match up for Bruno. I just felt like Bruno was a matchup for Usher than Chris Brown

I don’t think the idea of them battling is controversial at all honestly

Verzuz is about performing and the nice thing about these two is not only you getting some classics you prolly about to see an outstanding dance performance as well if they take it seriously

If these two took it serious this has the potential to beat anything verzuz has ever put out….two of the best dancing ass nikkas going ham on the stage in a battle? Man I’d pay to see that

Both of them are part of that Michael Jackson class of disciples and legacy dancers as MJ has significant influence upon them and even kicked it with them in person before when he was alive. So it would be really dope to see who is MJ’s truest disciple.

Maybe in a dance off but in terms of hits Usher has Breezy beat rather easily IMO.
