The Rihanna incident limited Chris Brown's ability to be marketed and get high profile endorsements. Musicians will still work with him, yes. But major Corporations will not gamble on him with how strong feminism has become.

You know who's getting those high end endorsements? Squeaky clean artists like Pharrell who can go sit through board member meetings. Even Jay Z has converted his public image to a family man with a Southern Belle wife. Highly marketable and relatable for CEO types.

Ask yourself, what is the last advertisement you've seen Breezy in? What Movie roles has he been in lately?

Jason Derulo = what Chris Brown should've and would've been had he not wanted to be a blood, hit women and do everything else he's done.

Yes, Chris is relevant and is featured on a hit here and there...but Derulo is in the Billboard top 100's top 5 with ease consistently by himself.

I always wonder what planet @Napoleon posts from sometimes.

Chris Brown got his 'elite' status stamped after Stomp The Yard.

The funny thing is I KNOW OP is going to say Drake is elite when he hasn't actually been doing music as long as Chris, had award show performances like Chris, or been as big of movie roles as Chris.

Miguel is going to show you the light in a few weeks

I'm a big Miguel fan, but I'm talking about now; not the future. Miguel is nowhere near Chris' level of celebrity or elite-ness if u will at this current moment :childplease:

The guy who's last album sold 44,000 first week? :heh: foh!

Chris Brown was never that talented & he doesn't seem particularly intelligent to finesse/network his way to super stardom like JT did (yes being white helped tremendously). I just don't see it, I've never felt Chris Brown had potential to be bigger than he currently is.
