there is no doubting that Chris Paul single handily makes a team better. dude carried the Hornets to the playoffs three times and immediately turned the Clippers into a playoff team making the playoffs both years so far.

however he has never been able to prove that he has that killer instinct to take over and deliver WHEN IT COUNTS

Paul has had a big problem in the past with disappearing in the 4th quarter of big games. call me crazy, but I think the 2007-08 Hornets had enough team chemistry and motivation to possibly win the NBA championship that year. they were a 56 win team that came out of nowhere and surprised everyone (Paul, David West, Tyson Chandler, Peja). it came down to game 7 of the semi-finals against San Antonio, at home in New Orleans, and Paul disappeared in the 4th quarter. he kept passing the ball to Janerro Pargo (who although had a little hot streak going at the time), but Paul carried that team all season and completely disappeared when he was needed the most. I think if the Hornets had won that game, then they would have made it to the finals.

I didnt say top 5 player in the L, he doesnt have to be a top 5 player in the league for LAC to get further than the second round

Top.5 at his position he has been for about 3 years, thats enough to get over the hump when you have the best pg in the league quote on quote and a strong supporting cast

I agree with what you saying 100, and thats the only problem I have with Paul if the nikka could win you really cant say anything about the nikka, the nikka is one of the smartest players ive ever seen, he just dont win and step up when it count

Rose plays in a much weaker conference so advancing further is way easier.The ONE time rose advanced in the playoffs he faced the 37-45 pacers and the hawks 2 weak ass teams.While paul faced the defending champ lakers and spurs and the grizzlies,nuggets and spurs all teams who were defending champs or went to the Wcf

And winning a mvp has nothing to do with who's the better pg

True but Pauls team last year def dissapointed thats nobodies fault besides the Clippers.

Eric Bledsoe isn't a pure PG

He's an efficient scoring PG, and I'd rather have Curry over Cp3, especially since he makes half what dribble dribble makes.
