OP is 100% correct, I've never seen any other PGs pound the ball more than Nash, CP3 and Rondo. Assists are overrated when you're holding the ball for 15secs every play.

He'd hate playing with Rondo too.
They trading him in the offseason, aren't they?

Playoffs my guy Idc about the regular season. You and anybody else who think OKC can win a ring without Russ is a damn fool
I never said that. You claimed that its been PROVEN that Russ is just as important as KD, when its never even been tested. I point out this simple fact and then you jump to I think they can win a ring without Russ.

:what:

Goddamn coli posters suck at debating.

Honestly I don't get the Chris Paul hate, but honestly a swap for CP3 straight up for Sabo wouldn't be a bad idea. Clippers are at their best when they're hitting shots, and running the floor wrecking people. Paul is really good in transition, but I think the clippers would be a lot more deadly if they had a guy like Russ and I think the Thunder would benefit from having a guy who doesn't need the ball in his hands all the time to be effective and could run a halfcourt offense way better than Russ. Durant needs every single touch in crunch time if he's not being doubled that dumbass shot russ jacked up today is a prime example of why he's going to kill that team in those type of situations.

:ehh: Wouldn't be a bad idea imo

But yall give Paul way too much respect and defend him every moment.

So why Paul aint won a ring?

Why Paul aint been to the Finals?

Heres one better: Why Paul aint been past the secound round? :stopitslime:

:heh: Maybe because his team just isn't that fukking good?

Yeah I said that a year ago during this debate.

Idk I can pullup stats but thats not needed the fact is that OKC aint gonna make no noise without Russ out there point blank
No, you cant pull up any significant stats because Russ has never had to carry the team without Durant. Its never been tested for you to make any dumb statements like that.

Heat arent winning it this year if Bosh were to go down. That doesnt mean hes as important as Lebron.

Look at names on a roster and don't watch games brehs.

Chris Paul is good, but he's not some incredible superstar contrary to the hype he gets. He's way too passive in a lot of instances. Blake has become arguably the best power forward in the game. Deandre Jordan doesn't do all that much other than rebound and catch lobs. Bledsoe was used sparingly off the bench and he comitted a lot of retarded turnovers and blew out teams in garbage time. Odom was ok.

The Clippers have never been an elite defensive team. They're a team that relies on jumpers and turnovers to beat people in transition.

They weren't shooting the ball well and again, defensively, they're pretty mediocre. Blake and Deandre went up against a frontcourt that is very, very gritty and very intelligent.

Blake wasn't as good as he is now, but either way, Z-Bo pushed him around and got in his head. Mike Conley played well too.

Memphis just flatout beat them because they play a more consistent brand of basketball.

They beat Memphis the year before that and Memphis beat them the year after, which was last year.

Memphis controlled the tempo, capitalized on the Clippers' poor shooting, and bullied their frontcourt into submission.

For the clippers to go far they'd have to go on some crazy three-pointer spree and avoid bricking from deep.

They should lost two years in a row if it wasn't for a fluke 27-point come back in Game 1 of Round 1 in 2012 but that comeback was spurred by--guess what?--- incredible three-point shooting from the likes of Nick Young and Mo Williams.

Clippers just aren't that great for all the hype they get, and yes, CP3 is part of why that is along with the other players on their roster

Yea ok keep believing simple as this:

Okc vs Memphis without Westbrook:Lost 4-1

Okc with Westbrook; Nba Finals

Bruh if you been reading the thread you will realize ive said everything you said but that still gives Paul no excuse to get bounced in the first round after leading 2-0

:heh: Yeah they had Billups, who hasn't been the same ever since he fukked his achilles up two years ago. Listen man, Chris Paul is one guy on that team. You can write the narrative however you want, but pinning it on a single man is woefully ignorant.

Memphis vs. Clippers has been a coinflip series the past two years
