McDaniel around for the rest of the year. 2-7, season's over anyway. Might as well just ride it out with him - everyone knows he's gone at the end of the season

Yeah, in their situation, the team has so many issues that it really doesn't matter who's coaching them this season. Might as well not introduce more issues with having to pay out McDaniel for the rest of this season, figure out who else to fire along with him, figure out who to promote to interim, and worry about them trying to fool themselves into thinking they can coach their way into getting the interim tag removed.

That new GM, whoever they are, is gonna have to be a mater of salary cap necromancy, though. Aside from the obvious cut of Tyreek Hill, there's a lot of shytty contracts they're gonna need to eat some dead money to get out of if they plan on being competitive again this decade.

Let's be real, Tua ain't it. They got rid of Flores cause he knew it. They bring in McDaniels, provided Tua with some really good weapons, and they can't even make the playoffs. They probably should have won last night but they didnt and won't because their starting QB is trash.

I know he doesn't like McDaniels, but he tries WAYYYYY too hard sometimes when trying to give his opinion. I find it a bit weird to feel that passionate about wanting to fire someone like McDaniels.

I understand wanting to see him fired, but it is clear Grier needed to go. I think Tua is the bigger problem between him and McDaniels. He is absolutely awful. I don't care what statistics may show he's not. He's terrible.

I know @CarltonJunior said this years ago, even when Tua was in the MVP race early in the year back in 2022 or 2023.

Do we know that? Ross apparently loves McDaniels. McDaniels has to come up with a game plan every week for a QB that can't be hit. I'm not saying he's a good coach but I think he can make the argument that he maximized what he could with Tua.
I don't see how you can bring McDaniel back. The team doesn't respect him as a leader. Even when they were winning they had discipline and organizational issues

They need a guy that is gonna come there and crack some heads like Vrabel or Dan Campbell. You think that dork is the guy to do that?

Same offseason Howie Roseman was reinstated as Eagles GM. 3 Super Bowl appearances 2 wins 8 winning seasons and Grier survived just as long :mjtf:
I mean, I sorta understand - Grier did draft some pretty decent talent but you gotta put together a winning product on the field at some point

All that was true last season. I'd have fired him and Grier already. But dolphins reporting I've heard is that Ross likes McDaniels.

I think it fukks up your team when the gm and coach are hired in different cycles. He should be fired. I don't think it's set in stone though. :hubie:

For the Dolphins fans here, do you follow this guy on Twitter or see him posting all the time? I can honestly say this guy is the most delusional NFL account I've seen on Twitter. He's top five WOAT accounts at best, and I think he might be the worst in terms of stanning a player. I'm pretty certain it's either Tua's dad or a family member of his. I don't post on Twitter often, but I do to this idiot.

I dont think its his dad, just because the guy tweets like a brainrot shytposter and not a hyper-Christian Samoan who beats his child for playing badly in a football game. It could be a cousin though

Yeah, I don't actually think it's his dad. However, it's almost certainly a family member or someone with a severe mental disorder. I don't know if you've seen the account before, but the way that account tries to put a spin on anything Tua related would impress even the most agenda driven NBA stans here.
