I'm probably hella late, but I didn't know this.

Not sure how it's their fault when he shouldn't have been doing illegal stuff to begin with. The show didn't tell him or force him to commit suicide. He chose to take that route.

However, some of the cases didn't get proper punishments because lawyers used the "entrapment" excuse which poses a problem.
