Don't know if any of these allegations are true, but man this dude was an erratic interviewer. Way too much sucking up to people, Jimmy Fallon fake laugh shyt, etc. I only listened to Nerdist podcasts if I was interested in the guest.

There was a lady on twitter saying she was a victim of real abuse and stuff like this uses the hashtag to get attention and really dilutes what they are trying to bring attention to/put a stop to. She got fukking flamed, even Kath Griffin joined in

Once again this proves that #metoo was taken co-opted by white Hollywood actresses for the purpose of helping themselves and no one else .

I find it very funny that Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon took up the mantle and became the faces of the movement and they are getting awards, shows greenlit, and production deals left and right (For the record, I liked Big Little Lies a lot so it's not a knock on their talent). Never really acknowledged a direct victim even had nothing to do with Rose McGowan who was keeping her foot on Harvey's neck
I'm just saying that they are profiting off the "movement" and helping no one besides themselves and doing nothing to further the cause besides mentioning "hey its a new era in Hollywood" here and there in interviews . Using it as leverage against others who operate in the same way as Weinstein in order to get deals and such.

I thought it was for women in all industries - Who have they helped ? Who the hell is controlling the donations ? Why aren't they at the very least helping linking up with professionals to revamp sexual harassment training in the workplace ?

I don't have the answers. You should look up or talk to women that been in abusive relationships and found out why they stay.

I haven't watched Walking Dead or Talking Dead in years, but I always thought there was something off about him, some kind of smugness even if he came off like a nerdy, likable, "just one of the nerdy guys", I always felt uneasy watching him. He oversold it.

Maybe not to the depths this articles describes, but I know people who I do, or used to consider friends who don't treat their relationships much different than this.

Textbook emotionally abusive behavior. It's really common, but people don't condemn, because it's all swept away as "women being crazy", and "crazy love"

On a real tip, are nikkas caping for fukking Chris Hardwick in this thread? I understand feeling some type of way about the MeToo extremists (not saying all of them are) but taking this route is even worse, its coming off like alot of yall caping for the shyt. Ol girl likely loved the guy for a while and was veiled by that, but then reality literally started beating that wall down. Maybe the lines are being blurred too much between consensual and non, but for someone who seems like a dikk as much as this guy does, it seems pretty cut and dry to me.

Hell nah I'm not caping for that dude, he's fukking annoying. My post was about the movement not being used to make actual progress and help regular people in the workforce.

Just was saying there is too much disputes even amongst victims of what is and isn't abuse/assault/harassment. People have to have discussions and use that platform to make change, not line their pockets
