I just wish Bernie would stop pretending to be a democrat. If he was really about that life he would have been independent.
He wanted a senior committee position. Said he'd caucus and vote with the dems on pretty much everything in return. People overlook this.

Bernie doesn't pretend to be one. He is an independent and most of this country are independents from all parts of the spectrum

But Bernie clearly believes that our electoral system is a duopoly of two parties. The party he grew up with was the one which implemented the New Deal, Civil Rights and Great Society programs. He clearly wants the Democrats to be that kind of party again which it hasn't been for decades.

Bernie campaigns for Hillary more than she does.

Hillary loses.

First to blame: stupid Bernie bros.

*fights Bernie wing in DNC race and smears candidate as antisemitic*

Why don't you give us your donors?

Stupid Bernie causing division.

*ignores major point of Bernie's campaign*

What's with these purity tests?

*constituents starts asking Congress folks to support legislation they want. Congress folks refuse, but demand enthusiasm for them.

Why are you causing division?

Bernie addresses candidate in a race that is what he doesn't want the party to become with off the cuff comment about not being sure if he's progressive

I've had it with Bernie fukking Sanders.

:laff: @ Bernie supporters attempting to play the victim card.

accept the results of your primary loss, retool and attempt to get your berniecrats elected.

but y'all seriously have to end this narrative that the best way to pick up seats in traditionally conservative areas is to be hyper progressive.

A party changes and ideologies change and best friends become strangers

Again he'd be better served starting this own progressive movement instead of shytting on the dems. At the end of the day he has more in common with Osoff and "centrists" then he does with republicans so he should be trying to get them out of office. The reason people of his ilk aren't winning anything is because obviously large swaths of the country aren't as progressive as we would like unfortunately. You have to adjust and get it where you can instead of taking L after L so you can puff out your chest about how pure you are while the republicans win and implement legislation

No one is saying that especially regarding social issues but on the economic side, working class conservatives don't really believe that fiscally conservative bullshyt. The polls prove that.

I've been beating this drum forever but the Bernie bros are too stubborn. Bernies run was great. Instead of bytching he should have started grooming his own people to run across the country and showing up at their rallies to offer support. Liberalism needs new young blood and support from him would be a great look. Instead he's damn near 80 and trying to soak up all the lime light he can while nobody can name a progressive other than him, and it seems that's how it likes it

The fukk out of here :laff: if a suit isn't Bernie in the flesh he is a "neoliberal" or "centrist"

Expect to win in bumblefukk, USA running as Bernie sanders, Bernie brehs

Well that's because many working class conservatives benefit from social programs. And being fiscally conservative means you support less of these social programs they'd benefit from.

Sanders economic policies that appealed to the MW and RB really is a response to many of them have worked labor jobs for large corporations and they feel tired of being abused by them.

But that's the same rhetoric Trump tapped into and they ultimately believedore because he was a tough talking, never back down, chest thumping, police praising outsider who was also a conservative by party.

There is something there for economic populism, but you're going to have to figure out a way to distance yourselves to offset the racial and religious aspects that conservatives offer.

It's like y'all don't believe in a god damn thing.

Big business always polls extremely low but nah we have to run on that. Keep running more Hillary types and expect folks to be excited and vote for you bruhs.

In NC the governor's race was won over a very narrow margin based almost entirely on HB2.

And to be honest, if it didn't cost the economic population centers in NC so much money McCrory would have won reelection because in all honesty the majority of the state would rather attack a transgender bogeyman than get jobs or have sporting events.
