I know it's a business and all and there are probably expenses that we don't take into account, but the Avengers broke records last year and is one of the top grossing films of all time, if not the top. And we all know that Disney has deep pockets. I wouldn't expect the other actors to get RDJ money, but they should easily get a decent size raise in salary for the subsequent films

The bolded is demonstrably false. Marvel never expected Ironman to be as big as it was. If they did they wouldn't have cast a notorious recovering drug addict. The enormous success was a giant surprise.

This. Ironman shot RDJ's career into the heavens, and RDJ made Ironman/Avengers a billion dollar franchise. It was one of those stars aligned mutually beneficial matches. Saying RDJ wasn't a draw BEFORE Ironman is not a good argument - because it is after the fact that he became the huge box office draw he is today, with it trickling into his other projects as well.

Crazy how RDJ's career peaked when he is in his late 30s/early 40s

IM3 isnt trash but i heard it's (dont count it since i wont see it in theaters)

the hulk was trash, the last 3 xmen movies were meh, ghost rider? fantastic fours? spiderman 3 and amazing spider man. 3 was so bad that they rebooted, only to make a slightly better film that did great in the box office just b/c it was a spidey movie. i'm off marvel stannery, i'd rather go back and watch straight episodes of the cartoons.
