He's mad at Sterling for not beating Ramadive to the punch in signing his boy Mike Malone to be the next head coach.

The Sacramento Kings have agreed with Mike Malone in principle on a deal to make him their next head coach.

According to a person with knowledge of the deal, the Golden State Warriors assistant will receive a three-year contract with a fourth-year team option. If all four years are fulfilled, the deal is worth more than $9 million. The person spoke to USA TODAY Sports on the condition on anonymity because the deal has not been announced.

After the Kings were sold from the Maloof family to a group headed by software magnate Vivek Ranadive recently, Kings coach Keith Smart was informed that he would not be retained.



Ranadive was a minority owner of the Warriors before deciding to buy the Kings, and he targeted Malone from the outset as the preferred coach of his new team. Ranadive is currently in the process of finding a general manager to replace longtime Kings executive Geoff Petrie.

Malone, the son of longtime NBA coach Brendan Malone, was previously an assistant coach with the Cleveland Cavaliers and New Orleans Hornets.

If Paul considers leaving the Clippers, the Atlanta Hawks would be a potential landing spot. Paul has always been fond of the city of Atlanta, and the Hawks have the cap room to sign both Paul and Dwight Howard, a Lakers free agent, to lucrative contracts. Paul and Howard have spoken in the past about joining forces, but once Paul was traded to the Clippers in December of 2011 and Howard was moved to the Lakers last summer, the duo figured that possibility was dead.

I have no clue why brehs on here don't get how Nash was this season, and how the Lakers were losing when Nash was the primary PG, even though Kobe put up big numbers and continued to lose. But, once Nash became a spot up shooter and Kobe became primary ball handler, Lakers started to win and saved their season. But, LWO, fukk em'.
