The professor is really not wrong depending on what type of leadership they're taking about.

If you get the chance to hear a professor from Harvard business school talk about business without actually having to be a Harvard student it's a good deal.

So the Harvard professor knows more about HBCUS than an HBCU professor?

She’s just there to ask questions. If we’re going down this rabbit hole the next logical question is why isnt an athlete who actually attended an HBCU hosting the event? But it doesnt matter. Mugs just want to complain about something.

That's actually a fair question imo.

CP3 didn't go to an HBCU and neither did this professor. It would make sense for at least one of them to have experience in the field that they are going to teach.

I wouldn't start a leadership series on the impact of joining a black fraternity and lead it with a cac.

Its weird to me. I'm not saying he shouldn't do it, its his money and his time and his initiative. But its weird to me.

I always look to make sure the person teaching me something has experience in what they are teaching me. If not... things are likely to be misrepresented (intentionally or unintentionally).

Makes about as much sense as having a professor from Grambling discussing the Ivy Leagues with someone who attended Rutgers. Which is a situation we’ll most likely never see because white people have more sense than that. We still don’t.

We love seeing others discuss us and our institutions like we’re little lab rats, even though we have 1000s of us who’ve actually attended these schools who are qualified to speak on them, instead of having a theoretical discussion by two that haven’t.

The Howard professor clout chasing.....

Yup. The Topic is not HBCU's, HBCU's are just the AUDIENCE. The topic is Business Case Studies and Harvard Business School case studies have been used in most business schools for decades. It looks like she's giving HBCU's advice on how to create their own case studies which sounds like a good thing that could probably help black owned businesses in the future...

These are colleges. Sharing knowledge is what they are supposed to do...

The reality of this is most likely Chris Paul doesn't have a single ounce of control in that organization and most likely just a "face" for the white/non black leaders:yeshrug:

It’s a shame that you are programmed to assume that.
