cp3 is a great glue guy teamate, he is not a go to player anymore

the clippers have a lot of average players that put together can be a 3 seed in the west....

this has nothing to do with cp3 being a superstar, and everything to do with that team is deep because they have so many non D-league players.....

He was never a go to player which is why his teams never go far. If you're relying on a 6 foot PG as your best player then you're destined to fail.

CP3 is one of the best PG's in the NBA. But he'll never be the best player on a championship team, basketball just doesn't work like that. You can't blame him though. He does what he's supposed to do.

You should be mad at Blake because he's the guy who has to take the next step (or 2) for the Clips to truly be elite.

John Stockton would have been a great PG with or without Karl Malone. But no way in hell he would have carried Utah to the Finals. PG's don't usually do that. They usually do the passing while the alpha dog scorer does the scoring.

You're barking up the wrong tree. Chris Paul isn't the problem. The problem is Chris Paul is their best player and that simply won't get it done in this league.

Chris Paul sucks? He's not a top 10 PG? He needs to be out of the league?

You argue with that.

In the meantime I'll just call it like it is. Dude was mad because his team lost. :yeshrug:

Weird thing is I didn't even see no phone booths yet and still here you come :cape:

So Isiah wasn't the best player on those Pistons championship teams?

I've said for a while now, I don't think Chris in his current form can win a title as the best player. He's just not consistently dominant as a scorer

So Isiah wasn't the best player on those Pistons championship teams?

The Clippers aren't those Pistons and CP3 isn't that Isaiah.

How many HOFers were on that Pistons team? You think Blake, DJ and Butler equals that Pistons' front line? Where is CP3's HOF backcourt mate?

Isaiah stands out from that team but they were stacked top to bottom.

Blake is not being utilized properly. He cannot be blamed for anything until he gets a new coach.

Isiah and odd were the best on finals teams yet people say Paul best pg since isiah. Kidd lookin like the fukk? More evidence he's overrated. People put him in categories he don't belong in. I've heard people say he's second to lebron.

Naw, Stockton was a system PG. With that said, Malone wouldn't have been as good without Stockton and vice versa. CP3 needs to come to Atlanta and play with Al Horford. He would have a much better shot of winning a title with Horford and a good center from FA.

Blake is not a smart player. He is an extremely talented player but he is an uptempo player playing with a low pace PG. He just isn't that player who excels in the thinking man's game. He would be better with Bledsoe in the long run. The problem is, I don't think he is or will be a championship level player. Him and K. Love erk me.

Yeah Stockton was a system PG if you consider the pick and roll a "system".

When :dwillhuh: said that he meant he wanted to actually run an offense and not just isolations all the time.

Stockton was legit. And his alma mater is ranked #1 . :lawd:

Players become a lot smarter with good coaching. :usure:

Chris Paul is starting to worry me. I saw him icing both knees vs detroit in like the 3rd qtr or some sh1t. He got issues.

I also think CP is overrated becuz I'm not sure anyone.could be the best player on a Chris Paul led team. He controlls the ball way too much. And I don't think he even wants to play in a real system.
