You're forgetting the fact that his contract don't expire until 2018. And the Knicks at this point don't have good enough assets to trade for him. Bismack is an UFA this coming off season.

CP3 isn't going anywhere until then. But I don't see him staying in a Clippers uniform when he becomes a free agent

Tbh i didnt think he would play for the clips. He made that team better from day 1

Chris Paul plus Carmelo Anthony might be a nice combo and do something big in the Eastern Conference.

Doubt Paul wants to go there at this point. But it would be an interesting option for him if he really looked into it. But realistically the Knicks should be looking just to get a couple of good players regardless of it's a superstar or not and they need to work on building a team. Melo should be traded for a draft pick so they can find another young player to go with Kristaps cause they aren't going to do anything as a team for the next few years and Melo doesn want to wake up one day at 35 and wonder what if he had pushed for a trade.
