Chris Paul vs Penny Hardaway

If you asked me who I think could lead my team to a NBA Championship, I'm going with a healthy Penny.

CP3 has better pg skills, but he's a really good 2nd option/ ball distributor.

Penny had better size and a post game.He'd be more dynamic down the stretch in tight ball games

Penny was a better scorer with more size and could defend three positions on the court. While Paul is a better passer and more of a pure point guard Penny's all around game gives him the edge for me.

I thought this was close, but the numbers don't lie, CP3 does much better in Player Efficiency Rating... Likely due to more steals, more assists, better 3 point and FT percentage (his overall FG percentage is worse though)...

Best Season for CP3 (08/09)

Penny Hardaway is the TMAC of point guards. Overrated, showed flashes of greatness, hyped up by nostalgia and marketing.
