5 page thread full of vax lovers telling us how ineffective the vax is at stopping Covid variants that were created in other countries… So basically the vax will always be ineffective because variants can just pop up in any country that doesn’t have a “vax mandate” (China, Russia, Japan’s, the entire 3rd world :mjlol:)

1 anti-vaxxer posting a bold-faced lie refuted by a 5-second Google Search......

  • Early research from the U.K. suggests that, after full vaccination, the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is 88% effective at preventing symptomatic COVID-19 virus caused by the delta variant. The vaccine is 96% effective at preventing severe disease with the COVID-19 virus caused by the delta variant. The research also showed that the vaccine is 93% effective at preventing symptomatic COVID-19 virus caused by the alpha variant.
  • Early research from Canada suggests that, after one dose, the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is 72% effective at preventing symptomatic COVID-19 virus caused by the delta variant. One dose of the vaccine is also 96% effective at preventing severe disease with the COVID-19 virus caused by the delta variant.
  • The Janssen/Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine is 85% effective at preventing severe disease with the COVID-19 virus caused by the delta variant, according to data released by Johnson & Johnson.

Nope. There is a distinct difference and people need to realise that the every day cotton masks are not going to protect you from catching COVID

That isn't their only purpose. They are also worn to prevent YOU from infecting anyone else via sneezing, coughing, speaking, exhaling, etc.

BRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKLLLLLYYYYYNNNN
What’s crazy is that last year I went out A LOT A LOT and never got it. This year all I do is hang out with my boyfriend or my sisters and my son. And when I do go places with them we all always have masks on. No one else is sick but me. I was with my boyfriend when I first started having symptoms, and he’s not vaccinated. Today he took a Covid test and he doesn’t have it. It doesn’t make much sense. I’m still trying to pin point how I have it when I’ve been masked up and no one else who’s been out with me has it.
Me too.

I work from home and mask up plus practice social distancing and caught it. As much as I'm not an anti-vaxxer, I got the vaccine because that covid shyt is no joke.

I really think it's just airborne and strictly affects you differently depending on your immune system and blood type.

I know some contrarian weirdo is gonna come in here saying the vaccine is 100% effective but I'm going to say it's not.

You have to change your diet, take vitamins, mask up and if you can, take the vaccine to add antibodies which may limit the possibility of catching it I'm guessing.

My girl is an anti vaxxer and I'm neutral. I just tell her to take vitamin c, zinc, elderberry and mask up and she hasn't caught it.

Now watch the weirdos quote this post with wishing death on my girl (because she's not vaccinated), me or anyone around me in 3, 2.......

Completely false. From the very beginning the vaccines were 95-99% effective, not 100%. Anti-vaxxers assume it was 100% effective and EVERY time a breakthrough occurs, they say the same thing you just did.

For the last time: vaccines lower the chance you get infected. They do not, and never have, granted 100% immunity.
For the record pro Covid vaxers and non vaxers have expressed the same concern about getting Covid after a vaccine and I know you’ve seen them. But for some reason you don’t wanna mention the vaccinated having an issue :jbhmm:

Everything I said was straight facts about some of you pro Covid vax individuals. Now that the tables are turning of course you are steadfast to the shyt that caters to your argument. Like I said where’s that chart w/ the little yellow dot?

Are you saying you’ve never uttered or heard anything resembling the phrase” get the shot to stop the spread”?

Are you saying it was never pushed that everyone get the vaccine to stop the spread?

From the beginning the vaccines where 95% not 99% like the news was reporting?:jbhmm:

funny I didn’t even get this notification. probably for good reason cause you gonna have some disingenuous bs to say.

a 5second google search found this info below. Are you sure about your above percentages or are you about to start dancing?

The COVID-19 pandemic demands that we remain vigilant in our daily lives as we return to everyday activities. We can each take some simple steps to protect ourselves, our families, and our communities.

The steps are:

  1. Get a COVID-19 vaccine.
  2. Wash your hands often with plain soap and water.
  3. Cover your mouth and nose with a mask when around others.
  4. Avoid crowds and practice social distancing (stay at least 6 feet apart from others).

The FDA has also authorized two additional COVID-19 vaccines for emergency use in people 18 and older. Studies show that COVID-19 vaccines are effective at keeping you from getting COVID-19. Getting a COVID-19 vaccine will also help keep you from getting seriously ill even if you do get COVID-19.”

please explain the bolded from the fda:unimpressed:

Who’s at fault here?

Like I’ve been saying kids are the super spreaders but technically need the vaccine the least.

It’s crazy how no one talks about this. Pro vaxers was on that, protect your kids, when fully vaxed adult can still spread it and when the kids are the ones doing the most spreading.

But because their isn’t a vaccine for them the media hasn’t sicced its pro Covid vaxer henchmen and media on everybody.

Just wait till they get their orders.

Because I haven't seen them. As far as having an 'issue' with breakthrough infections, that's true of EVERY vaccine from chicken pox to polio. These are no different, but ONLY anti-vaxxers use them to say 'The vaccines don't work. '

So, like I said, your statement was COMPLETELY FALSE since NO vaccine in history offers 100% protection.
