IMO Dave has more range than Chris. Chris can give u high brow average man comedy (politics, relationships, racial jokes) which Dave can deliver as well. However Dave can give u low brow (mad real word, making the band, player haters ball...etc), when Chris goes low brow u get Pootie Tang

Sidebar: isn't Rock associated with that god awful "totally biased" show on FX. That shyt is dry as fukk and not very funny at all...they should probably change the host .

The reason why I picked Chapelle over Rock is because I learned from him that Prince could ball.

But, I remember on Rock old HBO show, he did in-depth interve with the Purple One; where he revealed he didn't do "Bad" video because of the line 'Your butt is mine.' Prince told Rock he asked MJ, "who butt is whose."

Rocks stand ups, besides his last one are way above chappelles. Chapelle is funny as fukk tho just not as good a stand up performer. But u can just look at chappelle and laugh, dude has the natural comedy game down. Rocks material stand up wise is muc better. Both r legends.

I like em both. Chris Rock's Bring The Pain had waaaaaay too many many classics.. Tossed Salad man, nikkas vs black people, Hide ya money in ya books... Then he had the Chris Rock show, and Everybody Hates Chris (I love that show), and when MTV was following him around and he stole that Jay-Z cd, hilarious!

But Chappelle had Chappelle Show, Killin em softly, Sprinkle some crack on him and another personal favorite Half Baked.

I'm voting for Rock, with all due respect to Chappelle. Both great comedians to me.

I seen them both do a show together last year. They both good. I’d like to see more of a routine between the two that doesn’t focus so much on Rock’s divorce though. It because like a big Q and A for a second. I could see them two watching something political or somewhat serious and making jokes and bullshytting on top of it

Tough to compare entertainers from different eras.

I voted Chris Rock but in 2018 i'd say Chappelle is funnier. The only thing that ever held Chris Rock back as a comedian is that he's an awful and i mean GOD AWFUL actor. But if i got the chance to see both in their primes I'd vote Chris Rock easily. I love CHappelle's style because his standup is more like a conversation he's having with the crowd. THat's the new style of comedy in 2018. But in his era Chris Rock killed it
