Get mad at other peoples opinions brehs. Haven't seen the movie, Jadakiss is in my top 5, not gonna catch feelings if he's not mentioned in the movie though.

ohhh......that movie with a gazillion stars in it.

yall made it seem like he had a hip-hop doc coming out on the side.:heh:

It is what it is though..People have opinions and if I made the same movie I wouldn't have Jay-Z in any of my top 5 discussions and I'm sure his fans would consider me blasphemous.. I still fukk with Rock and will support the movie...

i remember years ago(i think when they did that funeral movie) when chris rock & tracy morgan were together and asked about their top 5s, im not sure if chris had jay up there. or nas for that matter.

and i clearly remember tracey giving jay-z the curve like :camby:

people gotta remember, these dudes are in their 40s, some pushing 50. so they dont abide by the media-pushed generic top five of pac/big/insert personal favorite/jay/nas.

pac is my goat, but if hes not in somebody's top 5, i dont bat an eye. especially if the person giving the list has already been around the block before i hopped off the porch.

nobody is a lock for top five.

Your top 5 list is a snapshot of YOU. This niqqa is from New York. His top 5 would likely show that as well as his age.

I am amazed that the subject of Pac has become an article of religious faith. As a writer myself, you can tell Pac wasn't spending much time on his verses. His flow was compelling and has been bitten countess times, but it's essentially the same flow all the time. In 2014 this is contraversial, in 1995 this was hardly a debate.

"As a writer myself":pachaha:

1.Link to your writing
2. No offense, but I'm pretty sure that Pac's lack of time in writing is undoubtedly better than any piece of writing you've labored over

Pac was an amazing writer, if you connect on the level Pac did you have to be a special writer and MC. It's not simply about being complex, it's about being effective, Pac is the most loved rapper ever for a reason. Pac had lyrics, even Biggie acknowledged this and rated him a 10 out of 10 as an MC and specifically mentioned him lyrically.

Dudes over 40 from New York don't fukk with Pac for the most part.. Combat Jack explained that. Plus Questlove was the musical supervisor of the movie and he has gone on record saying that it's debatable if 2Pac was even an elite emcee..

So yes the slight or ommision was probably done on purpose...

It is what it is though..People have opinions and if I made the same movie I wouldn't have Jay-Z in any of my top 5 discussions and I'm sure his fans would consider me blasphemous.. I still fukk with Rock and will support the movie...

There's no consensus GOAT, it differs from person to person, demographic to demographic.

Also, LeBron ain't overrated his peak is literally one of the greatest in NBA history and he has a case as the greatest player at his position ever and a top 10 player at 30 years old.
