Anybody saying Friday wasn't that popular initially is lying sack of shyt.
And the people on that "He's too old for that" bullshyt are just fukking stupid. I know plenty of people much older than Chris Tucker that are still on some stoner shyt.
The logical progression for that character would be for him to be growing and selling his own weed. They could also play up a rivalry between Smokey and Day-day.

There never would have been a Money Talks if he didn't do Friday first. And Dead Presidents was a good movie, but it's not like he was nominated for an Oscar or something for that role. Friday is definitely the movie that got his career jumpstarted.hiphopfanatic

man, I'd love for this to happen.
Just have Smokey come back all reformed and what not, changed his life around. Good job, etc...but Craig and Day-Day still getting into some mess. Start the movie off with Smokey going off on both Craig and DayDay for some ish they in the middle of, then have Craig start telling what happened by saying"It all started Last Friday..."
Or whatever to get it rolling. I just want it to happen. I basically grew up on this series. One more is all I want but if no Chris Tucker, Kevin Hart could work tho
