Well damn. I know one of Christ miracles in the bible was healing a lunatic man who was vexed. So wait how do the pills and drugs they give those folks effect them in relation to what you just mentioned.

On the superficial level, they both share the same traits. The only real difference is based on who’s doing the diagnosis, a clergyman or a doctor. There have been occasions where they both work together to heal a patient.

Yes, demons are real and no it's not a mental illness.
It can but it’s not always drugs.
A lot of people don’t understand how much our tightly interconnected past experiences, mental/behavioral imprints, thoughts, beliefs, etc. play in what we consider to be our person or Self.
When you get a beginners level understanding in how these things combine to form who you think you are, then start playing around with them, a lot of folks “lose their mind”, or touch with this reality, because they haven’t mentally prepared themselves for experiencing the ultimate reality that you can get glimpses of by doing certain drugs or performing certain rituals.
Sometimes it’s best for folks to just stay plugged into the matrix.

Yea these rituals and spells are real. My boy got a spell cast on him by this Haitian chick from NO. He was trying to break into the music industry and she told him to perform a specific chant. He told me once he did that it was like his soul was sucked from his body. He went crazy and was running around the street with no clothes on the cops arrested him for indecent exposure. Mind you, this is someone who never had a hint of mental issues.
Since that episode he had had repeated episodes of what secular people would call moments of "hysteria" however I fully believe it was demonic possession.
In Nigeria these things are more common than you'd see in the US so I can understand why some people would try to label it as mental illness.
