1.) In studying it seems all religions can be put into one of three categories.
A. Universe
B. God and Universe
C. God

The three monotheistic are Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

I see in Christianity how my works don't amount to a pile of beans. That separates it from all others.

Also, Death giving a small glimpse that this life we lead now is not the end of it. This life is just the beginning.
Can you expand on this?

Unique to the Christian worldview is this.

Isaiah 64:6 KJV
But we are all as an unclean thing , and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Other worldviews say you have to do works to be righteous. It is why Jesus is the substitute for our sins. God looks at the Cross and sees us. God looks at us and sees Christ. God comes to us in Christianity while in others you have to go to god.

Thanks for answering man, that is an interesting point I've come to notice that God reveals himself when he feels the time is right no matter how much I read the bible or went to church it didn't click until certain events happened that strengthened my beliefs.

Can you detail the personal experiences in your life that led you toward Christianity? Were you raised as Christian and if not what led you to convert and practice the religion?

I was raise Catholic till I was 8, moved to NC and stopped going.

I literally witness a miracle that spared my mothers life when I was 13. Been going to church ever since

Fell off in college and sometime afterwards, and starting making my way back around 2011....

The one thing I tell anybody who ask me about my faith is that you have to see Christianity as more than just rules in a book. It should be something you can't explain, sorta super-natural.

I felt overwhelming peace that I have never felt before.

do you really not see how this is a fukkin sham?

every human who's born is automatically indebted to 'god' because of 'original sin'? you really don't look at that and see how it was blatantly created by a man with an agenda :dead:

i dont owe your god shyt :camby:

people act like you NEED religion to be a good person

I don't, and I don't think many true Christians on here would say that you need religion.......Faith is the beginning of it all. It's a lifestyle, not religion.

Hebrews 11:6

6 But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.

Raised Catholic. I try to attend Mass every Sunday. I was educated in Catholic school all my life until law school.

Yeah, I'm aware of the Church's rampant corruption, pedophilia, and the Vatican's unsavory history. However, following the tenets of Catholicism (at least to the best of my abilities) has truly allowed me to be the best person I can be, personal sins and vices notwithstanding. And my faith has permitted me to see the best in most people I've interacted with.

They are Christian because they were born in the western hemisphere during the 20th century.

All I can say. ...is I know the times I really really needed God and cried out for Him...He has never failed me, wronged me or not shown up.

I believe God loves us unconditionally. ....because I feel His unconditional love.

I think we are all on our own paths but God will always be God, always is....that's why he told us his name is I AM.

To reject or deny the most powerful being in existence. ...is foolish to me, but that's just me.
