Christmas gift ideas for my pops (videogames)

So hes a 1000x more hardcore gamer than me (literally first generation gamer from atari pc, coleco, intellevision days and never gave it up).

Has every console, including ps4 and moms is getting him an xb1 (might need xbox accesories)
Has Tier Zero, 6 star, GOAT pcs he builds and is constantly upgrading
Newest tablets, etc
Fantasy games, mmorpgs, Sports games, FPS, RPGs, anything space, he's into it

Any out of the box gift ideas...? Games off the beaten path, accessories, or things that are surefire hits?

If he got PS+ he doesn't have to buy games and he can play the Quad whenever your moms is watching tv

assasins creed is a good choice..i know he likes the series...i'll have my mom or sister poke around and see if he has it already.
