Bosh's mere presence on the floor helps a lot with the spacing of the offense. When he is on the floor opposing big men have to come further away from the paint than they would like. This makes it difficult for them to guard the paint. This gives Lebron and Wade the green light to drive to the basket at will knowing they the shot blockers won't be there all the time.

However my problem with Bosh the last 2 years has been that he has almost completely abandoned the concept of rebounding. He does a good ENOUGH job boxing people out SOMEtime and helps tip out the rebounds to our wing players. But it's hard for me to condone it when i look at the boxscore and see a mofo who is 6'10+ playing 34 minutes and grabbing 1 rebound while our team was out-rebounded by 17 for the whole game.

you have factor in his role of spacing on offense and how it affects his Off rebounding numbers, he averaged close to 3 a game in TOR, and now only one 1 off rebound a game in MIA... also hes only playing 29 minutes a game this year... theyre taking it easy on the minutes so his per 36 minute numbers still have him at 8 rebounds a game which is nothing to sneeze at.
