I've been thinking about how super Mario rpg should have been remade by now a lot lately. So I'm in the opinion it's this over Chrono trigger

Excitement…Mario RPG is one of my favorite games, ever. I asked for an N64 cause I honestly thought they were making a sequel for it

I'd rather chrono trigger get a real remake and style it in the format of Dragon Quest XI or XII that they are working on

Super Mario RPG getting a HD2D remake will work because it'll be true to it's original audience and still be palatable to newcomers, but Chrono Trigger should have some real money put behind it IMO

I never hear or see it spoken of when making list or discussions. Compared to other games the remixes for super Mario rpg soundtracks are low.


It seems to get glossed over a lot
