It should be done to be brought to a whole new generation. We view this with nostalgia but kids of today won’t nesserailty feel the same. I tried convincing my nephew to play the original FF7 and the little nikka just
couldn’t get into it. It will be great to bring the story and the whole vibe to an entire new generation who can love it as much as we do.

If they remastered it with an art direction in-line with DQ modern games, it would be fire.
Honestly Chrono Cross needs a remake more than Trigger. I still have trouble making sense of some the story. Balthasar exposition could and should have been something to play through, but I guess the budget ran out so we got a Xenogears info-dump.

Lol there aint gonna be no remake.
80% to 85% of the cast could've stayed as npc and some could have been relegated as side quest only or cut entirely.
