Chuck can talk shyt because he's put in the work and putting the money where his mouth is. Keep in mind the same folks who are always shyttin on black men taking a stance are always caping for the Beibers and Donald Sterlngs of the world. How can any black man NOT applaud what Chuck doing?

he might be one of the first artists to really switch to the digital medium. i saw PE in concert over 10 years ago and they were pumping their site heavy and how new artists could release music thru it. they had alot of artists on there too
i forget the site.. hardcorejamz.com or some shyt, but they were definitely ahead of the curve in that respect.
It will be split between Chuck and Flav at least but I'd imagine Chuck gets a higher contribution percentage. These things were worldwide recently man, plus PE are an iconic group. Chuck is doing just fine lol. He's comfortable, is he a billionaire? No, but he is doing just fine and richer than probably all of us. Remember PE sold a lot of records and were pop in a sense (culturally not content wise). They also have some iconic songs like Fight The Power, you get money from all the usage of that. Harder Than You Think was a huge song, the Paralympics thing made the song go back into the UK charts at a high spot so they get royalties from that too. It's been in numerous adverts and campaigns too, they eating off all that. Plus the shows, plus the old and new album sales. It's not old school radio stations, it's film companies, and some massive organisations, Harder Than You Think was a big hit for PE. Anyone can lose their money but Chuck has always seemed humble, down to Earth and he lives comfortably but not extravagantly, with his intelligence this should come as no surprise, Flav I can't speak for, but Chuck is good.
Chuck isn't a hater type individual, he's not like that, it's about messages and principles. We all have people in our circle who probably do dumb shyt but we can only account for ourselves. Chuck isn't Flavor's dad, I'm sure he would have advised him not to do what he did but you can't make him, it's like ODB, people from Wu tried to say to chill at times but he would just be more determined to wyle out. PE have been invited to do big shows and sometimes turned them down initially over principles, it isn't about that with Chuck. I think most of us with agree that the radio is corrupt.

The only reason Clear Channel runs shyt is cause its not free to do. It costs money and once you got advertisers, you gotta maximize returns.

I'm gonna go on a limb and say NO ONE there is checking fur Chuck D. He's only on the bill because of of "history" and Jay probably facilitated that move.

The entire crowd had their hands up when PE stepped on stage, and cheered/jumped around through out the performance. I guess it's too much to assume you watched any part of the performance though.

Yeah, that's far from what Chuck is like. He's in many ways the opposite, he's been more trying to help and support and work with younger artists. His position is based on messages and quality not young and old.
