I had a wake up moment when I tried to put my ethiopian boy onto YG. The first song, BPT starts with

niggga, nikka, nikka, nikka, nikka, nikka, nikka, nikka, nikka, nikka,

"nikka im from BPT!"

I rarely used the word irl but I vowed never again. I still say it on here though,

The problem with statement's like chuck is im sick of people playing dumb like its black people who decide what music is put out, its not people at all. its corporations.

I had a moment when I went to see A$AP Mob, Schoolboy Q and Danny Brown way back when. Rocky was passing the mic to random people in the crowd. He hands it to this one girl who goes "Rocky, the n-word. We gonna stop saying it." The entire crowd, mostly made up of white teens, boos her and he's like "Man give that fukking mic back." It was the moment I went "This is pretty fukked up, something wrong here."

I'm white and it sometimes it throws me off, when black people say what up nikka,to me
But nowadays it's pretty much means bro or dude to the 90s babies white or black,
Teens aren't offended by it,I'm rappers don't get
Mad when they see white people at their shows singing along either
,I never understood why Hispanic people get a pass for saying it tho,I've been to Puerto aRico, and they definitely treat black Ricans different there
have you seen what "rappers" are willing to do , say and accept in order to get some shine?

I agree with Chuck. I have cut down use of that word drastically in my everyday talk. The bigger question is you ever notice PR people say it constantly.. I mean like every other word is nikka, nikka, nikka

:what:

They say it more then we do and that is very disturbing to me.

Can anybody explain to me why they think black americans call other races nikka? Just so y'all know in NY it seems like latinos use it more than blacks. Every other word out these dudes mouth is nikka this nikka that, yo my nikka, stop playing my nikka, blah blah blah. To the point where I'm like :wtf: some of these cats be looking mad white too.

and anyway you can usually tell who grew up around the word and who is just saying it because they heard it on a rap record.

no they dont :rudy:
Celph Titled calls himself 'Cuban white-boy that says ****** and eats pork' on I Could Write a Rhyme:yeshrug: , now that I think about it though, I can't really think of other examples from him and I didn't listen to Paz for ages so maybe these two rappers weren't the best ones to name.:ehh:
but to stay on-topic, in your view, is it suddenly okay for white people to say it when rhyming along to tracks?
