Watching now, Chuck is on point so far. As I've said I still disagree with the "white takeover" narrative and conspiracies, but he's right about shytting on Hot 97. Ebro can talk metrics all he wants, the fact is that his station is about to get shytcanned because the ratings aren't where the corporation wants them to be. So they flail around and prostitute themselves by making outrageous comments to gain attention, or doing reality shows (since everyone likes reality shows right!).
shyt is so simple, and I'm tired of seeing people fall for it. Ebro always does the same thing: he makes an aggressive, ignorant attack on something. This sparks a "conversation" on social media, and sooner or later the person or representative of the thing he dissed comes on his show...and then a relationship is formed, and he expands into whatever thing he once dissed. We saw him do this most recently with battle rap. Just a few months ago he said battle rap was corny. Then he brought battle rappers/promoters on the show to "argue." And now Ebro is MCing battle rap events. Thank god Chuck D didn't fall for this shyt.
And SMH @ at the god Buckshot. I hate seeing him fall for Ebro's shyt, and allow himself to be debased on live radio. He gets invited onto the show to be belittled - so Ebro can tout numbers and metrics and tow the company line.
