Atlanta To New Orleans
Dont we want to see a lesser seed team steal a game or two?
You never know what could happen after that.

But I do agree with the stretching out of games. 3 days off in between games is bad. BUT, I also like watching one game at a time as opposed to the old way, like you said, 2 games at once.

In a 5 game series, yes stealing a game meant a LOT more. A lot of lower seeded teams in the 90s stole series by winning Game 1 or 2 and defending home court. But in a 7 game series, that evens out a LOT more. I do like the watching one game at a time too. But now you're having lulls in action for the next round because the #1 seed is sweeping but having to wait on a 7 game series between the #4 /#5. Now teams are getting a week off if that happens (which it has happened quite a bit lately) and that's just too long.

The problem with NBA is too damn predictable unlike NFL/NHL/March Madness/MLB, etc.

First round 7 series just too much

Team-up with superstars are killing the playoff series especially Miami Heat in the East Conf.

Refs didn't let them play....Refs just killing the nba playoff series too...mfer LET THEM PLAY.

How would a Best of 5 make it any less predictable?

Tell me something; how many upsets were there REALLY going on back in the day? And how many times has the best, most talented team NOT won the championship... or even the series, for that matter?

Switching from Best of 5 to Best of 7 changed the mindset of the fan watching more than it actually changed the potential outcome of any of these series.

This is simply the nature of the sport of basketball. In basketball, if you play a series, nine times out of ten the more talented team is going to win that series.

cut the playoff teams in half. theres just too many god damn teams. each division winner gets in, then the top 2 non division winners in the league get a spot. cut down on the fukking time between games. theres no reason game 2 of the thunder series should be on a wednesday, when theres no travel involved and game 1 was sunday.

i think every series could be interesting and entertaining. except for the heat bucks. that gs and Denver series might be the best one.

i think most of this comes because ya'll romanticize the playoffs like its some ultra hype shyt and use that as the excuse to shyt on the regular season. All this "shyt dont matter till the playoff start". Now the playoffs here and

Chuck acts as if shyt is that much different than from his era, minus the ridiculous 2 added games in the first round.

Grizzlies 8 seed beat Spurs 1 seed in a 7 game series
Warriors 8 seed beat Mavs 1 seed in a 7 game series
Sixers 8 beat Bulls 1 seed in a 7 game series, but that was an injury.

all these happened in the last 6-7 years. There has been more 8 seeds beating 1s since the 1st round went to a 7 game series than they were when a series has been 5.
