Yeah. Lately she's been co-hosting the 3pm hour with Brian Williams in addition to doing her 4pm slot. Her 4pm show is pretty good.

Her show is very anti-Trump and anti-Trump Republican, but we know once Biden is elected her show will do a 180. Or at least go the Chuck Todd both sides route with Republican talking heads on her show going against Biden nonstop and MSNBC will look stupid.

Yep, that's exactly what will happen. Joe S. is republican in the morning when you go to work, although you can't tell, and Nicole Wallace a republican when you get off work

Former but that’s whatever for right now.

It’s a smart play for at least the rest of 2020/early 2021. She’s pretty much the embodiment of “swing voters” that will decide the election and a mom while the back to school process develops.

She is not a swing voter. She is a Never Trump Republican. The thing many people have said is coming to fruition. The outsized influence of the Never Trump Republican in corporate media.

I don’t mean she’s an actual swing voter. Admittedly I meant more the suburban white woman vote which is a swing vote to some degree. She’s representative of them based on optics:
  • White
  • Female
  • Mother
  • Former republican/conservative
  • Clearly fed up with Trump
Don’t get bogged down in what you know/perceive her to be based on background. It’s a smart call IMO to put her in that spot right now as opposed to Todd. She generally does a good job on her shows in covering the pandemic and race issues along with 45’s fukkery.
