This is fine if you dont care about how black men are percieved in this country and globally. If you dont believe how we are percieved has any impact on how we are treated as a collective,then your statement is correct. If you do believe protecting our image matters to some degree,then you are wrong.
I have no issue with black men being taken down if they are actually guilty. My issue is why must our "take down" always be such a spectacle? Why must we as black people participate in the gossip,help push false narratives that will make it easier to railroad these black men? Knowing that if it works once,they will continue to use that strategy in the take down of other black men who may not be monsters.
