I'm not a big fan of evolved zombies but I hope they do a good job of not going too overboard with super zombies and shyt. Idk maybe it'll be a good idea lol

To be honest.

The trailer and movie are probably a MISDIRECT.

The first movie wasn't really about the infected but instead people trying to survive along with what happens to their humanity.

The tagline of THIS movie is "what will Humanity become?". The sequel is called the "The Bone Temple".

If I had to guess a bunch of humans had to learn to survive in the wilderness as they were not allowed in the quarantined areas. They eventually became brutal savages like the infected and then started making their own tribes "The Bone Temple" over a 28 year period.

As most Humans in the nation are dead "what will Humanity become?" is about if the remaining surviving Humans in the quarantined areas become like the savage Humans. Only one can have a future as "humanity".

This makes more sense than a super infected or a Resident Evil type storyline which I can't see this director doing :yeshrug:

:whew:

I had to look up to see who the cinematographer was. I was going for Roger Deakins, but it's apparently Anthony Dod Mantle. He and Boyle shot this whole film on an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Most impressive.

Where is Naomi Harris. Ypu whiteb misappropriation culture thieves.

This is a zombie movies and zombie movies are about the Black dialectic. Where is the black lead for this film?
This is why zombie movies afyer romero did not do well long term. As they tried to misappropriate zombie films last time.
Last time it almost completely failed till walking dead. Brought in,...*gasp a black woman.

Where is the black female lead in this sequel.

You know why the second sequel failed. When it failed to feature Naomi Harris. Where is Naomi Harris character or child in this film?

Why is this green lit and the second film faildd. Then given another green light and no black character?

what is this?

I wish Romero did the Resident Evil films. He was going to direct them back in late 90s, but those pussies at Constantin Film rejected his script and hired bum ass fukking Paul W Anderson, who wrote them a script that barely had anything to do with the video game itself, and they gave him green light to direct entire series of bad movies.

If those incompetent fools allowed Romero to do Resident Evil (with big budget) we would've gotten a series of really really great zombie films.

Yet another reason why movie industry sucks these days. Fools see a good script in front of them and do nothing with it.

Kind of seems like overkill to have a sequel come out six months later. You can’t have too much of a good thing. And that Candyman movie was pure ass. I’m so mad that I went to the Alamo to see it.
I liked the direction of ‘21 Candyman, I thought Nia had something cookin’ there and nailed the vibe of a gentrified Cabrini Green. My fear at the time, and something I was proven right by, was the heavy-handed writing in the back-half that derailed things. Went overboard with the anti-police commentary and I dunno what happened in the writing room between her, Peele, and Rosenfeld there.

It also felt like they had no idea what to do with Colman Domingo, which is crazy to me looking at the work he’s put out recently.

But she won’t be writing here. It’s Garland penning the scripts, so :ehh:
