Is there an official defeat for this or must backup Blu-rays be played on a htpc?

I've heard changing date of the file sometimes works but I don't know of a 100% foolproof defeat.

well there goes half the usefulness in having this Blu-Ray burner. I guess I can play backup Blu-Rays on just this computer.

Just make sure the files are mp4 or m4v. I have no problems when its that format...any other format and you rollin' the dice.

Mkvs don't play on ps3s or 360s regardless if It has cinivia or not
I watch MKV's on my 360, but some of us are not afraid of google :win:

DLNA is friends with Xbox. So you can stream anything via that for starters.
Skydrive is also another Xb1 feature, and you can stream movies from there as well
And you can create "channels" that show up in the ONE GUIDE for you AND YOUR FRIENDS :wow:

So if you can't figure it out, just look at your TV guide via Xbox and look up PS4dogs shared folder and watch yourself some Machete Kills bruh :win:

i been reading more about it. seems like there's a watermark in the audio we can't hear that survives through conversion and if your device picks it up it'll shut you down. so mp4 removes that?

All I do is change the date and time on my ps3. It happens every 20 mins never fails but it's kinda wack when the whole family's watching something and I gotta pause shyt to change the time and date.

I guess you need yourself either an xbox, or an PC you can hook up to your TV
Xbox's been as low as $50 for years now, so for $40 or less you should be able to find a decent one
I'm a lil salty right now cuz my next door neighbor sold his 360 and GTA5 for $50 a couple of days ago
Didn't even ask me :damn:

Check craigslist... or you can even use a roku box :manny: (Roku 1 is $50 new)
