Cincinnati......why is this city hated on so much?

I lived in cincy for a summer (interning at p&g). That city is garbage, well most of it, the other half that isn’t desolate hood is just a forgettable middle america town. Only good thing about Cincinnati is being right on the edge of the central and eastern time zone so it doesn’t get dark until hella late in the summer.


Plus I was there a summer y’all had cicadas....what in the fukk

I was never going to visit but now I'm making sure I NEVER visit.

Cincinatti is just another boring city in Ohio. It's not that bad though...just a bit rough around the edges. Chilli Spaghetti is cool. It's like 45 minutes away from Kentucky. The hoods there is rough though. I used to live in Ohio from 2002-2004 so I've been damn near everywhere in that state.

The cincy you know is way different now. shyt looks nicer than columbus now

Lived in KY my whole life, and I live in Lexington now (which is an underrated city imo). Was up to Nati over the weekend to check out IKEA (gmb). It’s seems like a city that’s been left behind in some areas, but overall, I don’t get the hate besides the AWFUL interstate traffic. Was moving 20mph on a Sunday afternoon.

I'm sure she was just saying they happened to pop up that summer she was there. Cicadas pop up like every 15-20 years damn near everywhere in this country. They are just annoying because of the noise they make. I remember it was a big thing in STL when they came up some years ago.

I'm born and raised in cincinnati no one hates on us because Nobody knows anything about us...Matter fact the whole state is basically nameless....We haven't had any music artist popping that didnt move to Atlanta or LA and our legends are old...The majority of actors/actresses don't really talk about it...Damn near the only one repping is Gary Owen and Sister Shaharazad Ali.

Basically everyone doing well either left the city at some point with only a few returning or they arent from the city at all.

Is there anything thats known for that comes from Cincinnati.........well apart from a few episodes of First 48

Every time its brought up in real life (I was talking to my boys about it) or even here in the coli.....people trash it. But when u ask if they've lived there or visited....its always the same answer "No but it looks like a shytty town."
