fukk Marrone, despite his success I hate his wannabe Parcells steez. He really thought he was hot shyt when he opted out of the Bills after barely getting to 9-7. He was smart enough to go to Jacksonville and wait out Bradley to fail and reaped the rewards of that. But, he supposed to be an offensive guy and Bortles hasn’t shown much improvement from him. If he wins, it’s because of their defense and Fournette killing our suspect run defense.

Because of the way he left, he tried to make a power play and instead of betting on himself he weasely left like a bytch. He smartly went to a young team building with a bad coach and has taken advantage of it fully to this point. To answer your question, he wanted to pretend like he was the modern Bill Parcells except his offense was archaic and his coaching was conservative. He's a decent head coach, but he his surely personality and ego get in the way of things. But, I will say the situation was bad at the time, Whaley wasn't a good GM and Pegulas were 1st time owners so maybe Marrone leaving was good for everybody. Whaley/Rex disaster led to McDermott/Beane leading the Bills to the playoffs.
