Had no issues getting from Heathrow/Gatwick to where I needed to be using the Tube/Overground networks.

JFK is a bit of a pain with the Airtrain. LaGuardia is a joke. Newark via Amtrak actually isn't bad.

The MARTA came in clutch for me once enroute to Atlanta from the airport. BART in San Francisco too.

Vast majority of American airports are trash in this regard.

Major cities not having direct rail to airports is an embarrassment. LaGuardia will forever be a joke to me for that reason. I always use Marta in Atlanta. It’s faster if you need to get to midtown or other areas well served by it


Honestly speaking the only way NYC can make up for that failure is if they build an air train link that connects JFK, E/J/Z, 7, LaGuardia and Manhattan.

if they are serious and link the air train to Manhattan all the L’s will be forgiven
