but every damn time I try to take metro out they say delay, a shopping cart was on the track, a gang of teen girls stabbed each other, a shooting, homeless person got hit etc. now I’m standing in the platform, already wiped my card and it’s cold, gotta wait 25 minutes for the next one.

This is one thing I loved about Chicago's airport. I was able to get around pretty easily on trains and busses

Hoping to go out there in late June and definitely agree about the public transportation out there. Every time I gone its been so smooth with getting out of the airport and travelling around town. Get that CTA pass for a few days and just ride wherever we needed to go.

We not allowed to have subways here, tho there is a monorail type system. Not sure if it goes out to the airport since I usually use another airport closer to me but I can definitely see where having one especially to an airport is a huge convenience. I need to find other US cities like Chicago and NY with good subway or public transportation systems so I can travel and check them out.

The light rail in Seattle is just like this....very convenient....

just visited and used it. a bit of a walk from the terminals but its great

I like the citiess with the tiny airports where you can just pull up and park your car near the entrance and hop on the plan. Versus having the take a train for 45 minutes just to find the parking lot.

That’s when I go to DMV to visit fam I always make sure my hotel is near the MTA, so I can park and catch it downtown to DC or other parts
