My fiancé was listening to this and she was skipping the shyt out of songs
Even by City Girls standards (and this subgenre in general), it’s LIGHT as hell. I swear there’s so many of those lazy ass obvious sample songs trying to cheat streaming numbers. “Face Down” even sounds like a knockoff version of “Act Up”, and doesn’t at all hit like that track. These chicks are on their 4th project at 29 and 30 years old, and it just feels like they’ve run out of stuff to say. I know this is a lot of words for a City Girl album, but it’s just such a blatantly lazy album from QC.

I’m watching this City Girls Breakfast Club and it’s kind of implied this is a contract obligation album They even referenced how old the Usher song is 
they mentioned how some of the songs are even older than the Usher song, and that they had been wanted to put the album out.
EDIT: damn JT really going in on their shytty management all the way to pre-Covid
like they just have the label but no actual management. She mentioned how they barely have had videos for most of their music and general promotion. Even them being on Breakfast Club the week after their album drops doesn’t make sense as they were trying to get on their beforehand

It’s just getting bland at this point. Once an artist ain’t hungry no more they fade into the background. GloRilla was the hottest last year and she ain’t nowhere to be found this year. Cardi pop out once in a while but that’s it. Meg is not elevating. Lotto had to steal Icewear Vezzo style for a hit. City Girls biggest song Act Up came from Lil Yachty hanging around Detroit cats and overall they don’t make enough material. Sexy Red took over because of her authenticity and that’s about it. City Girls got out ratcheted by the real hood ratchets.
